Radiating Shoulder Pain
Radiating Shoulder pain can be a very serious condition. Usually when symptoms radiate it means that there is an issue with the nerve. In the shoulder there are a number of nerves that can be involved. Many times if the radiation of pain it will involve branches of nerves that come off the brachial plexus. The brachial plexus is a network of nerve tissue that divides into the major branches that supply the arm, wrist and hand.
All symptoms should be followed up on with a professional but radiating pain is more urgent in that if there is pressure on a nerve or at the very least irritation to a nerve there is increased risk of long term damage.
Active Release therapy utilizes a high degree of anatomical knowledge and skill to trace the nerves in the area to ensure that any pressure or irritation to the nerve will be identified and removed.
