Trigger Finger
Trigger finger is a condition where sometimes when a finger is flexed (contracted/shortened) it snaps or jerks instead of a nice smooth motion. It is usually found in people who perform repetitive movements or need to grip objects fairly tightly. It can effect any one of the fingers but it commonly effects the thumb and first 2 fingers.
Active Release is excellent for identifing that injured area of the muscle or tendon then using the appropriate manual technique to return it to smooth proper function.
