FAQ

What happens during the first visit?

We will go over your history and do a physical examination.  Then Dr. Dan will explain his findings and begin treatment if appropriate.  Usually half the visit is exam and consultation the second half is active treatment.

When can I expect to see results?

Results should be expected by the end of the first treatment.  This treatment does not require multiple visits before seeing improvements.  Long term results are achieved over time but Dr. Dan expects to make changes each and every visit.

Does this treatment hurt?

It can be uncomfortable. The thing to remember is we will be working in and around an injury site, so it is normal to have symptoms in these areas.  Dr. Dan focusses on using the appropriate amount of pressure and depth to increase effectiveness.

Who can benefit from these treatments?

Anyone who has been doing any repetitive movements or maintaining a sustained posture for long periods of time.

Can this help issues that have been a problem for a long time?

Yes, many clients with long term symptoms have found relief with ART.  The key to remember is that ART is highly specific.  So when you treat the right tissue with the right depth and pressure great outcomes are usually the result.
